Literature Text
Last night,
I dreamt of you,
You know that?
Guess not.
It was
Raining outside
And the skies
Were grey.
Inside I sat,
Looking out the window
Thinking of seeing you
Thinking of loving you.
Then, I see you
Standing outside
And suddenly
We're holding hands.
It feels
So right to be with you
Can't you see
I want you to love me.
Then,
I woke up
And realized
It was a memory.
It hurts
What you did
And I cry
Every time I remember it.
I wish
I could forget
Those painful
Memories I own.
"It's not
The two of us"
Anymore like before,
Now I lay alone.
All I
Can do now,
Is dream of you
As I sleep tonight.
I dreamt of you,
You know that?
Guess not.
It was
Raining outside
And the skies
Were grey.
Inside I sat,
Looking out the window
Thinking of seeing you
Thinking of loving you.

Standing outside
And suddenly

Can't you see
I want you to love me.

Hide and Seek
"One...Two..."
I tried to find a place to hide. I crawled under a table and looked around my area. Good thing I'm not claustrophobic.
"Ten! Here I come!"
Little socked feet run out from the back room. I see her look around the room and run into another. I cough as a hint. She flips around and yells, "FOUND YOU!"
Then I'm counting. I count to ten and run to find her. I can't find her.
Then I turn around and see her on her bed asleep. I put a blanket over her and put on my gear to go outside in the snow.
"What are you doing?" I hear her voice say behind me.
"Go back to sleep. I'm going outside."
"Okay..." then she wanders back to her room.

Secrets
Smiles are not meant for everyone. They weren't meant to be displayed for everyone else to see. Only for those who are special enough to find a way to see that smile. If a smile were an ordinary thing for anyone to see on any person in the world, then wouldn't that mean that every one of us would constantly be smiling? But we're not. Where's the fun in that? The light airy feeling of being able to get someone to crack a smile on a usually solemn face.
A smile is like a secret between friends.

In the Mirror
She cracks the door just an inch, peering through the crack into the darkness of the room beyond. Lightning flashes through the window, illuminating vague figures standing still. Fingers twitching, mind racing, heart pounding, she pushes through the door and reaches to grab the nearest figure. The white fabric slips silently off as she touches it, revealing the chair underneath. A wry grin finds its way onto her face and she moves through the room. Dust bunnies run from her falling footsteps, jumping quickly then slowly drifting back to the floor. She slides the cloth from several pieces, a table, a couch, more chairs, a trunk, a vanity.
